such a great post TJ. I'm happy I dumped Twitter, Facebook, Insta a while back. Wish more people and artists would stop giving Zuck and Musk (and Eck) their data and creative work. But I also get that it is difficult for those making a living with art to delete accounts they've spent years building a community with, as bad as they are. If it's your major way to communicate with your fans, then it seems artists are fearful (rightly so) that no one will stray from a platform page to an artist specific site they've built and own, out there on its own. And I guess the answer to that is that they must not really be fans if they won't do that. Not trying to make any judgement with these comments, but it is a bummer that so many great artists I'm sure believe that Zuck/Eck etc are evil, but still feel like they can't just cut the cord. But in the end I agree, we all should dump them.

Reading a book that I think relates to this topic, The Instability of Truth: Brainwashing, Mind Control, & Hyper-Persuasion by Rebecca Lemov.
